Central Tucson Homes

This is the part of Tucson with real history and through the years has kept up with Tucson’s growth and today is a very popular place to live.

Home of the University of Arizona, the Tucson Community Center, the Arizona Historical Society  and so many other places to visit  and enjoy.

Because of the attraction of so many institutions and their  employment of thousands, once old neighborhoods are like new with that old charm,  one cannot build today.

Of course the Sam Hughes area, where I grew up,  is not only one of my favorite, but the choice of many today.  Jump on the bicycle and it’s off to work at the U.of A. Homes are $400,000 to over $1,000,000. To think my family built our very lovely home for just over $20,000!

El Encanto Estates and Colonia Solano have some of Tucson's finest homes in beautiful, landscaped neighborhoods, and for that turn of the century look Armory Park downtown is hard to beat.

With golf courses and the arts so near by, and with gas prices so high today, maybe the central area with good bus transportation is right for you .
