Amphitheater School District Tucson Homes
Named for the five chains of mountains that surround the City of Tucson like a "Beautiful, natural amphitheater", the district was founded in a five-room adobe house in 1893. Today, Amphitheater School District #10 covers a 109 square mile area on Tucson's northwest side, extending from the Pinal County lin south to Grant Road. The district encompasses parts of Northwest Tucson, Pima County, the Town of Oro Valley and the Village of Catalina. Amphitheater District currently has 22 schools -- 3 High Schools, 3 Middle Schools, 2 K-8 Schools, 11 Elementary Schools and 3 special program schools.
